"Lunar Gardens bite"

Films: Attack of the Moon Zombies (2011)

Alias: None

Type: Mutant

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of average humans.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: Zombies have popped up just about everywhere. The Earth, the air, the sea, space...but now they're...in space again, yes, but it's the MOON now! So...yay?

History: A base on the moon has recently made a startling discovery. Somewhere in the lunar caverns, there are odd plants growing without much trouble. But then the spores get loose, and it turns out that they can reanimate the dead. What's more, the dead come back as plant-based zombies that spread more spores into the air to infect the living and add to their ranks.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: Eventually, the oxygen is cut off in the base, and all of the zombies go frozen. They are left there for the corporations to decide what exactly to do with them.

Powers/Abilities: They can release spores that convert others into one of them.

Weakness: Anything conventional, though they'll become stiff as statues if there is no oxygen in the environment.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-The big googly eyes really do a number on how scary these guys really are. Plant-based undead that infect through spores is a really novel idea, but unfortunately, finnicky costumes and aforementioned eyes send it to oblivion.

Trivia: -This film was directed by Christopher R. Mihm, creator of the Mihmverse, in which 50s-level creatures and plotlines run amok. Other examples include "The Giant Spider" and "Werequito: Nazi Hunter".

-Speaking of which, this whole thing was done in his basement, and is his longest film yet.
